With iScan, the first in-office impression scanner, the ear impression is scanned quickly and easily at your office.

The ear impression is placed onto the three pins of the magnetic holder: It is best to remove the otoblock, cut the string and be sure that the surface of the silicone impression is not oily or shiny, in order to avoid optical reflections.

Then you simply place the magnetic holder into the scanner. There is only one position for the magnetic holder to fit securely. Therefore one edge of the magnetic holder is rounded to indicate the correct position on the turntable. When you hit it, you will hear a “clicking” sound.

Then close the lid of the scanner and press “Start Scan” on your computer screen. That’s it! - We made the process that simple.
